Both the first post and the MPEI installer still refer to 1.2.2.4.

Wow, that was quick: already in MPEI installer!
However, when I uninstalled and reinstalled from MPEI, I got the attached error message.
When I installed it from the file you posted earlier it worked fine.
P.S. The error message comes after the installation has reported success. It looks as though it happens when trying to redisplay the MPEI dialog. Are there logs for this sort of thing? I couldn't find anythingrelevant in the usual ones.

I have not done anything yet, still fixing two minor bugs before releasing the next version.
Your last error seems to be related to the MPEI installer.
lukjod, i just found out that i did not update the tvserver version to 1.2.100. Will do this with the next version.

During a recent export attempt (using 1.2.2.5), I got:

This surprises me, since this is a relatively fresh installation
Is there some logfile, which might give me an idea what kind of DB problem was found? I looked, but found only the entries above in tv.log.

P.S. I have MS SQL Server 2008 R2 Express as TV DB.

rsbrux, the message comes from the script which only works for mySQL databases. It should only install that script if it finds a database
PROGRAMFILESx86 + @"\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1\bin\mysqlcheck.exe" during installation.
Please confirm that this file did exist. But the script fails if you have your Tv database somewhere else. In that case just disable the "Auto Repair dataBase" setting in the Tvserversettings.

BackupSettings V1.2.2.6 released

I released the next version with a few minor fixes:

Version 1.2.2.6 released on 24 November 2012
• updated TVserver version to 1.2.100.0 (MP1.3)
• bug fix with default settings for export/import in TV server plugin
• bug fix with selected path in client
• bug fix if path did not exist
• backup of .dll files in TV server program folder (Update: Some plugins are storing additional .dll files in the program folder)

I tested also with Windows 8 (MP1.3alfa). The plugin works fine, but I have issues with lost frames on my Tv cards (Cinergy S2 USB HD, Technotrend Budget 1100). So i guess there is more time needed.

i will need to prepare a special debug version for you. From the log file i see that you are using the standard MP1.3alfa (no SVN version!) Correct?
