Hi there,
Sorry to be posting such basic questions.... but here it goes.
I have just bought a remote of ebay and it didn't turn out to be what I was expecting (which I suppose is the risk with ebay - the remote looked identical to my cyberlink remote on my other client which works perfectly with intelliremote, but the receiver is different). Basically it has installed as an "ehome Infrared Transceiver". I am running XP SP3 and I have found the drivers for the USB device but I am struggling to get it working with MP.
I thought I would give IRSS a go, and I have been able to get some simple functions working using the translator function to run a keystroke - basically I have got the number keys working (interestingly I have not been able to map the supplied remote, but a skydigibox remote).
Anyway, I don't seem to be able to find any options to map the remote buttons to keystrokes like "Escape", "Return", "Down", "Left" etc etc, only where there is a literal alpha or numeric keypress (eg a number or letter). Does anyone know how I go about this?
Also, I have seen loads of reference to the MP Control Plugin, but I can't find it anywhere to download.
Sorry for the basic question, but I am a little bit confused (even after reading the wiki).
