I was wondering - is there a way to configure what items are displayed in the main screen?

I don't use my HTPC as a tuner/DVR and want to get rid of all 'tv' options. I have a massive dvd library (been collecting for years. (ok.. maybe not massive, but over 2100 original dvds)

I'm in the process of encoding everything to divx and moving them to my HTPC/Entertainment center (92" 1080p HD Projection) and everything is working great. :) I really just use the system to centralize all my movies and to help prevent the discs from being damaged by the kids.

Anyway, I'd like to remove all of the TV related items from my menus. Can I do this with custom skins? (i don't care if it's still there, I just don't want to see it)

Any suggestions?

Thanks much!

Are you wanting to get rid of the "My TV" logo in the homescreens? (normal and Basic menu)?
A modified XML should do the trick, if you want I'll have a bash at seeing what I can do.

What skin are you using?

I'll check the skin when I get home - one of the ones here on this site. I'll post as soon as I figure it out. :) If there's something specific i should be looking for in the XML files (and what files) definitely post that info.

also, if you just want to change the options in the regular home screen, then you can go to configurations/plug ins and just disable any you don't want. You can also choose whether they appear in the home menu or the plugins menu and even change the order of the display (in the home plugin configuration).

    Hope this helps :)
