Hello,
I am quite happy with my 1-tuner HTPC at the moment, but contemplating the idea of adding a second one.
With only one tuner, I can record a channel and watch a second channel from the same channel bundle (on the same frequency), but that's the limitation I want to overcome. On commercial STBs with 2 tuners, you don't have to worry about this.
How does MP manage this ? If I have 2 tuners with identical channel lists, one recording one channel, and I want to watch a different channel on a different frequency, how do I tell MP to use the second tuner, so that my recording doesn't get interrupted ? Will MP automatically use the other available tuner for that ?
Thanks,
Lorenzo
