BASS and multi-channel audio (1 Viewer)

BASS does support multi-channel audio and indeed I get audio out if I play an ac3 file using BASS.
Problem is that I only get stereo output.

I am not sure if this is an inherant problem with BASS and that it will not simply pass an ac3 bitream over SPDIF or whether there is a slight quick in the code which is preventing this.

Any ideas as I would prefer to use BASS then directshow (mainly for gapless playback)

BASS will pass AC3 over Spdif (at least when I last looked it did). You need to disable anything which might adjust the volume away from 100% though (like fadin/fade out etc)
