Bass Player sound quality (1 Viewer)

Hi
I'have a problem with the sound quality of bass player. When listening music
with bass player it sounds dull. When listening with foobar it sounds great.
But I would like to use bass player because of the visualizaions.

Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong.

I use an x-fi extreme music which is connected via spdif to an yamaha receiver.
Mediaportal is 0.2.2.0

Perhaps using ASIO might help a bit (no way I am doing that myself --> no crossfading!)

What do you mean with no way I am doing that myself...?

And what is ASIO?

You can't do crossfading if you are using ASIO. That is why I am not using it.

Ok thanks for this tip. But that means I've to install an SVN Build and not the
original 0.2.2.0 and when I tried this the last time the autostart plugin doesn't work.
