Hi,

I'm using MP on a 1920x1080 Screen. So far everything looks good, but trying to see a fullscreen vis will result in a truely slow framerate. I would really like to see an "pixel doubling"(like nullsoft vis) option, which reduces the amount of rendered pixel to half of native resoultion and then sample it up to the whole screen.

I have to agree with you. Some vis are just impossible to run smooth with high resolution. There must be a way to set the screen resolution while showing fullscreen visuals.

I would love to see a "resolution option". Im using fullscreen visuals on my plasma everytime I play music.

Acutally I don't think that acutally changing the physical resoultion will be the best option, since chaning it often results in temporary or all-time graphical glitches, due to display behavior(my display f.e. will just decrease the size of the displayed image until I push one button on remote, other panels tend to "auto-adjust" and then flickering or kidding around with the image some time). An internal res reducement which is streched fullscreen after would be most effective and maybe even less work. Rendering frames off-screen and resize them via already implemented routines could be possible...
