The configuration is not a problem. :)
Are you using MP 1.1.3?

Sorry for my late reply...

    Hi again

    The patch is attached. Instructions:

    1. Close MediaPortal.
    2. Take a backup of the TsReader.ax in your MediaPortal install folder.
    3. Download and extract the attached TsReader.ax into your MediaPortal install folder.

After that, start MP and try to watch Dorcel TV.

I've juste try do this but that change nothing to me.

It isn't on the server this I should put this file. Isn't it?
But, I think that the problem come from the server because I can't make a preview in TV-Server configuration... Don't you think?

You put the file on the client. For example, I put it in "C:\Program Files\MediaPortal 1.1.3\Client".

But, I think that the problem come from the server because I can't make a preview in TV-Server configuration...
Preview with TV Server configuration would require the file to also be put in the MP install folder on the server.

Do your other channels still work?
If the problem is on the server then perhaps you could post some logs from the server. Client logs might also be required...

Ahhhhh - I made a mistake in the patch! :sorry:
I originally wrote the patch for 1.2.0b. I had to copy the changes back to 1.1.x. Try the attached one. Don't worry about the logs, and sorry once again!

I've done the test: no change, Dorcel still not working...

PS: I'm not at home from tomorrow till Thursday. So, I can't do any test during some days...

    Hi mm,

sorry for my late reply, but I was really busy. Could you provide me the patch for the 1.2 Version? So I could check this.

Here are the logs of the preview from the server. Hope this helps.

    Hi Django.edwards

The version I've posted will work with 1.1.2 as well. Having said that, it looks like there may be a problem on the TV Server side that I didn't know about. I only had a short recording to test with. The recording was not playing in MediaPortal and I was able to make it work. Are you able to record or timeshift (without viewing) the channel using the "manual" section in TV Server configuration?

[Edit: re-read and realised you said 1.2! Patch attached...]

    Hi mm,

I will try this as soon as I can take control to Mepo... the family of my brother in law will not be amused if I will do this right now. :)

As I never received Dorcel yet, I tried this today for the first time. I did a "Test timeshift" in the Server Config programm. There I got the message "No vidoe/audio found". Now I see that my provider mentionned that Dorcel is only available from 22:00 - 05:00 MET. And I don't know if they sends a testsignal during the other time. So I'm not really shure if this is a normal behaviour or not.
As I understood your patch, than he is only for beeing able to watch the program, so timeshifting should work. Is that correct?

    Absolutely - no rush. :D

Ahhhh, I see. If they don't send a test signal then that would explain the message you saw and the logs. I hope that the next version of MP/TV Server should be able to detect when channels like that are on or off air and show an appropriate message.

As I understood your patch, than he is only for beeing able to watch the program, so timeshifting should work. Is that correct?
    Yes, correct. :)
Timeshifting/recording must work before the patch will have any effect.
