Disclaimer: I'm new here and don't know if this is the right forum, but did not see a better place to go. Feel free to move the post as required. Thanks. When I installed MP seveal month ago, I spend quite some time to get the selection of ASTRA satellite channel I want to have in my TV list. Now, there are new channels available and some have changed the frequency. When I try to update he channel list in MP manually I got stuck with detailled dialog asking my for technical information I did not have (or even understood). Scanning the LNB again seem to work to some extend, but still I don't have the channels I want. I think, I approached the set-up dialogs like I did with any sat receiver I used so far, which means I want to pick a memory slot, type in name, frequency and polarization. Dicide on audio carrier and that's it. (That is exactly the information I have from the ASTRA web-site) However, the dialogs in MP are far to complex for this way of thing (except if I missed the short-cut). I was facing the list of all (!) channels in a level of technical details I don't want to be exposed to. Moreover, the grouping in provides does also not ease the process of selection the 20+ channel I really need (out of a 300+ or so). If anyone has experienced a simialar need or challenges I would be happy to use your best practites. Or just send me a link and and call me to stupid to search and read. :thx: Thanks for your help. Regards, Gemini
