i have used ages to find a good media database tool which can help me to keep organized with all this "junkfood" which we are getting offered to...
Media portal is the no 1 on my list. But its still not perfect as i had wished.

My Movies - missing ext. offline drive support... so if you click on a movie which is laying on a ext drive it will tell you which ext drive to connect.
Moving Pictures plugin - supports ext drive and tells you which HArddisk to mount. but this hasnt got good searching possibilities like in my movies... if you click on the name of the actor to get all the films you have with this actor and so on.
MY series plugin-.-- works just perfectly
anybody any ideas what i can do to make me happy... i would love to keep the standard version of my movies because of the search and sorting posibilities.

ext programm which is called TED, helps to hold an eye on which series you watch and when there is a new episode avaible. It even downloads it automaticly via torrent network.
is there a tool like this with movies ?

if these things would work this could become a full automaticly media mashine where the only thing you ahve to do is add a new harddisk everytime the harddisk is filled up.
