BGT3600 - any good (or any problems)? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I am thinking of selling my Nova S2 and HVR-2200 and buying one a Blackgold BGT3600 card instead - once they are back in stock, anyway.

Has anyone had any experience with these and most importantly, have they run in with any problems? I will be running it on the latest version of MP with WIndows 7 64-bit.

I don't have one of these but since nobody else has responded...
As far as I know they work fine in MP.
Can't speak to their reliability, tuning speed or anything like that though.
One point in case you intend to use the satellite tuners to receive multiple satellites: DiSEqC is currently not supported. The drivers don't support anything more than 4 port switch control, so it won't work with a dish motor.

I just bought one and it arrived today. When I get all my other server components I will let you know how I got on.

That said there is no reason why it won't work. The only place that has them in stock (in the UK) is www.my-HTPC.co.uk and it arrives in under 24 hours from when I ordered it (using their standard delivery service).
