Maybe I overlooked something, but there seems a conflict noone has thought about, maybe:
I set the profiles for low/mid/high quality and set the default to mid-quality.
The files recorded are fine.
But when I watch TV I watch TV in the default quality. Means the PVR does only give mid-quality. I see blocks and that is not the best quality available.
So when I set the defautl quality do high-quality watchng TV give superb picture. But when I schedule a recording it is set to default quality which ends up in very big files.!!!
Ok, I could set the recording and edit it to record in mid quality. But that is some extra steps..
Normally you would expect the default quality setting only applie to the recording. NOT to live TV!!
I do understand that when I watch what currently is recorded I can only watch at the quality that is given by the PVR at that very moment.
