It's extrange, when i try to play a video file the first time (after starting MP) i get a black screen, but i can hear the audio... if i minimize the playback to a small window in the bottom, then i can see the picture. Then if i stop the playback and i open the video again, i works fine... this happens with all videos (divx, xvid, mov, etc).

I'll try to send you the logs later...

regards,

try updateing ffdshow, or simply use the native codecs (which always here in oposite to ffdshow ;) )
