Black sreen after TVRecords (1 Viewer)

Hy,

my problem is, wen my MP PC still suspendmode.
Then reactive by Time Record, e.g. 8.00 pm.
After Record the program my MP PC still in Suspendmode.
Now i reavtivate my PC per Keyboard.
MP start and i have a black screen.

Wen i start Taskmanager and cancel MP.exe (Mediaportal.exe), then i can start MP new and all works fine.

Hi Christian,

try to disable the following check boxes in the MP Setup.exe --> General tab:
- Blank screen in fullscreen mode when MediaPortal is idle
- Turn off monitor when blanking screen

I had this issue too and disabling these options in the setup solved my problem. The disadvantage of disabling these options is that the screen will remains on, if you e.g. listen to music. A workaround is to activate the Windows screen saver and set it to "blank screen.

@MP devs: Would it make sense to add something like "might cause blank screen after standby/hibernate" to these options in the setup?

This is also not the problem.
