I have the above card running under Windows XP(SP2) and have managed to get it to work with mediaportal by swapping my card to MCE and using the BDA drivers.
This has worked for the first few RC's of mediaportal, but on the latest RC4 i am unable to doa channel scan in MediaPortal without it crashing out. And the scan in configuration does not pick up any channels!
Any ideas? Anyone tell me how they have there's setup i.e. drivers used and OS etc
Also i have noticed when using say Cyberlink or WinDVD codecs for MyTV decoding i end up with a lot of picture distortion or ghosting>? Seems to be linked to hardware decoding? If i use the descaler codec it works fine? What are other people using? For DVD's i use the above codecs with HW decoding fine....Does this card nto support hardware decoding? I have an X1800XT by the way...
