I installed the latest svn & used the codecs you recommended, but there was no change. I had the same error. Also, I tried installing the WinDVR3 to correct the problem before I posted this since it had helped others. It did not work. Do I need to configure something to use those or should it just work if I installed the software? From looking at everything in graphEdit, it seems that my ATI MPEG Multiplexer does not want to work with the MPEG2 Demultiplexer. I'm going to get a bit technical here, so if you need a picture of this to make it more clear just let me know and I'll upload the graphs that I am talking about. ATI drivers ship with 2 versions of their encoders and multiplexer. There is the ATI MPEG version and the ATI Media Center version. With the ATI MPEG version everything connects up until I try to connect the ATI MPEG Multiplexer with the MPEG2 Demultiplexer (as I mentioned above). With the ATI Media Center version the mux and demux do connect fine. However, the Video Capture does not connect with the ATI Media Center Video Encoder. So, if I try to load the TV stuff using the ATI Media Center versions then I get an error where it could not connect to the Video Encoder. All of this to say, do you think it might be the ATI drivers that are causing the problem. If so, what would you recommend I do to fix it? Thank you for your help.
