blank screen (1 Viewer)

Hi guys I am keen to test mediaportal. I have an ibm T23 notebook running xp pro it has all the ms updates and packages needed.

However when I run the mediaportal app the screen is plain white with the date shoing. The only other item that shows is the tetris logo when I move my mouse over it.

Any ideas how to fix this one?

Just did a quick search and could not find specifications for your notepad,

Video Render Type: VMR9 or Overlay Where do I find this?
Video Codec Type & Version: video codec you used for testing

TV Card: type of TV card, manufacturer and model dont have one
TV Card Type: software / hardware / DVB
TV Card Driver: driver version you used for testing
Optional Log: parts of the "/log/MediaPortal.log" which show an issue
Optional References: any reference

Synopsis: blank screen but the date. Where do I change the overlay. I tried another program and it told me that the pc was not VMR9 compatable and to use another type

Have you got Windows Media player 9 or 10 installed.
I take it you have installed XP as found T23 came with Windows 2000 originally.
