I've fixed this problem myself. Phase 1:

Uninstall MP
Uninstall all Hauppauge applications
Run Hauppauge HWclear app
Reinstall Hauppauge Nova-USB2-T driver
Reinstall and configure MP (plain 0.2.2.0)
Reinstall Hauppauge IR32 (I know - wrong order and no entry in irremote.ini!)
Result - exactly the same problem :( TV has jitter, dropped frames and loss of lip sync. DVD's and movies all play perfectly. Then - I decide to play with the video driver settings - setting the following:

Antialiasing - 2X
Anisotropic Filtering - off
Image Settings - High Quality
Vertical Sync - on
Force Mipmaps - off
Conformant Texture - clamp
Extension Limit - off
Hardware Acceleration - Multi-device Performance (I'm cloning a monitor and HD projector)
Trilinear Optimization - off
Gamma Correct Antialiasing - on
Transparency Antialiasing - on
Triple Buffering - on
Negative LOD Bias - off
Result - BINGO! No stuttering, dropped frames or loss of lip sync! :D I guess that TV must be handled differently from movies and DVD then? :S Hope this is of some use to other Nvidia users. Now if someone can just post the parts of irremote.ini In need, it will save me from reinstalling MP again and I'll have everything working perfectly :D Kev.
