I use IRSS ver 1.4.2.17941 in conjunction with the TV Blaster plugin for TV server and a USB-UIRT to change channels on my STB.
I have a problem sometimes with the box changing to an incorrect channel, and I have narrowed this down to an issue with the channel number sequence being sent twice to my STB.
I have set the "Repeat Count" setting in the TV Blaster plugin to 0. When I go into the TV Blaster plugin and use the "Test" button to send a channel change command, it sends the correct command -- only once -- every time. I actually did this 100 times in a row and it worked each time.
However, when MP TV server is running and changes a channel for an actual recording, I notice that it sends the channel change command TWICE every time. About one in ten times, this causes it to go to the wrong channel. I am wondering if this is IRSS doing this.
I noticed that inside IRSS, there is a "Repeat" option under the configuration setting for my USB-UIRT. However, IRSS will not let me set the repeat count to zero.
Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas? I'll be happy to post logs if that would be helpful.
