Hello,

Sorry for my english.

I saved my blu-ray discs collection on 5 external harddrives. not stored as an ISO -> stored as file
when i play the blu-ray in MediPortal Configuration-> Plugins -> Moving Pictures -> play with default player
the movie plays from the begining with all feauters in the ArcSoft Player.

When i start the movie from the basic home screen in Mediaportal the movie will not start from the begining,
the movie start´s at 00045.m2ts in AUSTRALIA.

What can i do, that all movies in Mediaportal starts form the begining of the movie ???

My LOGFile in the appendix

MediaPortal doesn't itself have any support for Blu-ray playback. Are you sure that you aren't using Moving Pictures plugin?

MP is playing the BluRay movies with its internal player. Moving Pictures can be configured to use an external player for BluRay-Plackback.

    To do so,
    • open the "Moving Pictures" configuration in the "Plugins" section
    • go to "About" tab
    • click "Advanced Settings" button, confirm with "Show advanced settings"
    • Enter the path to the Arcsoft executable in the "BluRay/ HD-Playback" section

This should launch the Arcsoft player and play your BluRay just like outside MediaPortal.

Hm, this should work. Did you set the entry "Use external player" (directly above the executable) to "true"?

Sorry, I'm out of ideas then. You might want to post this in the "Moving pictures" forum (subforum in "Plugins"), if you get no answer here.

This is the reply from the MovingPictures Forum:

Sorry kpsysteme, Moving Pictures does not share the same Bluray startup logic as MediaPortal for exactly the reason you are describing. If Moving Pictures plays Blurays fine and MediaPortal does not you will need to bring it up with the MediaPortal team.:mad::mad:

it is possible to use the same function in MediaPortal - Moving Pictures -> Play button
as the same function in MediaPortal Configuration - Plugin´s - Moving Pictures - Play in default player ?
