[QUOTE="steve760, post: 413099, member: 89496"] What was meant by the above is to go through your PowerDVD settings and adjust the most obvious settings, such as not using the auto start with windows and enable the full screen and always on top. Maybe any other settings that seem they may need enabled or disabled. You can use your discretion as nothing is absolutely needed to be changed, just somethings may help. 1. What version of MP are you running, If not running the latest 1.0.1 I would recommend that you do so, however I would not say that this may fix your problem, as I am not sure why its not working for you. 2. Also you have a lot of stuff running in the system tray, im not sure what all of it is, one thing is I see Trend Micro Internet security, make sure that the application/firewall settings are not blocking the HD_Starter from working properly. 3. I have never seen the HD_Starter running as a service like that and I am not sure why it is or if it is supposed to, then again, I am not running XP media either, nor did I write the plugin, I don't see where it would work any different on XP than vista though. 4. I see you are running the MP standby handler, that plugin caused me all kinds of nightmares and I will just leave it at that. 5. Have you did any custom mapping for your MCE remote in the MP config? With the later MP versions you should not need any plugins to use your media center remote, if you are running any plugins for the remote or IRtrans now this could be part of the problem, again, i can not be certain what exactly the problem is. 6. when PowerDVD opens it does not autoplay, this is the expected behavior, you should have to push one of the colored buttons or play button on the MCE remote to resume or play the BD/HD. The HD_Starter would have be modified/recompiled to autoplay the BD/HD. Remember I did not write the plugin and am only trying to help you get it going, the plugin is great and well worth the time, as I say i had no issues with the setup of it, on multiple Vista machines, not only mine but friends and clients as well. I would also read back through the posts and see if their are simlar issues, and if they resolved them, if changes are needed to be made to the HD_Starter I can most likely help in recompiling it so it will work, so long as we find another HD_Starter working for a XP media edition and it is different than the one I have. Ok so reading a bit into the posts of this tread, I found where some are having recompile the autohot keys script for the remote that they have. This is not hard you will just have to follow along with the posts in this thread to figure out how to do it. As I said, use the posts of others to figure out your changes to the mapping for your remote, should be pretty simple, I would try to do this for you, but being I probably do not have the same mapping as for your remote or XP media center, im not sure it would be successful.
