Hi all, I’ve rewritten MoPhat’s script to fit my needs. The script now uses an ini-file instead of having a various number of scripts for MCE, hauppauge, PowerDVD, PowerDVD9 and so on. It can be maintained by editing the HD_Starter.ini file. I’ve tried to keep it as simple as possible. Comments are included. If there are any questions, don’t hesitate to ask it in this threat. Keep in mind that this script is my first AutoHotKey-Script and it might be a bit buggy. I tested it on Win XP SP3 (32 bit) machines with one and two displays. Both computers have nVidia-graphiccards. It was not possible for me to test it with a MCE-IR-Controller and ATI-graphiccard, because I haven’t got any of them. Maybe there is someone who can test it? If you are using a hauppauge-IR copy the provided irremote.ini into your Window-folder, after you have copied the original irremote.ini. Stop ir-Service and start it again. MCE-IR-Controller uses the keys provided by MoPhat. Copy HD_Starter.exe as described in the first post. HD_Starter.ini must be in “c:\program files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\Windows” (!!language-specific default-installation-path!!! e.g. C:\Programme... for german Windows installations). Otherwise the script can’t find it and will terminate. If you use a different installation-path of MediaPortal, you must change the script (variable inifile) and recompile it. The rest of MoPhat’s package must be installed. Don’t forget to run Dllfix.dll What does the script do? 1. it reads the ini-file and fills its variables with the ini-values 2. it searchs WatchDog.exe to kill the process (it pops up, when MediaPortal-process is killed) 3. it searchs MediaPortal.exe to kill the process (had probs to take the focus away from MP) 4. it switches to 24 Hz-Mode if ATI and switch is wanted 5. in case of ‘useHotKeys=’ it switches off hotkeys (in case of using irremote.ini or any other ir-controller that uses its own ini-file) 6. it switches to standard-Mode if nVidia-graphiccard is preset in ini-file and switch is wanted 7. it starts PowerDVD and waits until PowerDVD is terminated 8. it switches back to clone-Mode if nVidia-graphiccard is preset in ini-file and switch is wanted 9. it restarts MediaPortal Before you use it, edit the HD_Starter.ini to your needs!!! Use the script on your own risk eagle
