I would really appreciate if we could get a new, updated howto for this valuable plugin. It is a waste of time to work through all these pages. I am not shy to participate in re-writing it, actually. Obviously, the installation-process is not too complicated. However, lots can still go wrong, if beginners like me use it. Let me list my experience: System is a (nice) Moneaual MediaPC with Win7 32bit. Mediaportal is 1.1.0 final I followed the principal advice of post #1, replaced those files with the most actual ones. (Aka post #720+) Some observations: As all directories in program files need adminstrative rights, it was not possible to write the HD_starter.ini, compiled in the GUI-HDStarter.ini directly into the plugins/Windows-dir. I copied it there manually, after saving it to a directory, where the normal user had write-access to. See also the first picture showing content of the plugins/Windows-directory. I executed the HD_Start.exe manually, and it opened PowerDVD, if PowerDVD was closed, MP opened as intended. So, the plugin works. But out of MP, it doesn't. See pic #2 This is the content of HD_Starter.ini: Obviously, I missed an additional step. Regards, Quax
