Blu-Ray / HD DVD plugin for Arcsoft player (9 Viewers)

First I would like to say that this is my most used plug-in in MP and my favorite by far.

I do have one small issue or more of an annoyance. If I have finished watching a mounted Blu-Ray and want to watch another the plug-in will mount the new image, but it will not auto sense and start TMT. It only happens when going mounted Blu-Ray to a new mounted Blu-Ray. Going from a mounted DVD has never been an issue. Is there some setting I should set or is this just the way it works. I can start TMT manually from the home screen after I have mounted the disc so it's not as though it doesn't work at all.

Just noticed that the RefreshRate change is not working.
But on the other hand, the internal methode of MP is not working under W7 in general.

So i was wondering "how" the RR change of this plugin works.

so i guess that it only uses the internal RR changer?

because since the internal one does not work at all under windows 7, i had to add "actions" in the configuration section to use dc.exe (Display Changer) to change the refresh rate.

If i play a HD mkv inside my videos, then the RR changing (to 24Hz) works like a charm.

But if i watch a BluRay using the Arcsoft Plugin, then the RefreshRate does not get changed.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a bug in MP code (as if I remember correctly the API doesn't take any parameters how the refresh rate should be changed. And that is how it should be working as the 3rd party plugin shouldn't be responsible of such.)

Maybe gibman could comment why the refresh rate changing is not using the configured method in this case.

Can i use this plugin twice? Because i want to launch something else, but multishortcut plugin is not working with 1.1.0 alpha (i'm running windows 7). When i install this plugin twice, and i configure one then automaticilly the other one is changed too.

What can i do ?

No, only one instance is possible. Please ask the author of the multi shortcut plugin to fix his plugin to work with 1.1.0A.

I just installed the plugin and everything exept dts/dolby digital works fine.
seems I only get stereo within MP, 5.1 sound works great in arcsoft player when I launch it in windows.
I have set it to SPDIF in the arcsoft settings.

any ideas?

Could be a bug in Arcsoft's player (at least nothing that we can do on MP / plugin side to fix it).

Did you use the trial? I get a message that digital sound is not available in the trial (or something like that).
