If you open instaler.xmp in notepad it will tell you what each file should be renamed to the GUID bit is its current name then the FileName is what the GUID should be renamed to. Then the subtype is the folder in the MediaPortal Directory each file should go in. Hope this helps.

To anyone who are getting the corrupted package error. Are you using the latest SVN or just MediaPortal 1.0?

MPI format might have been changed in between 1.0 and current SVN (at least there has been changes into MPI).

ALL of the SVN's break my setup... I was up until 3:00 am this morning trying to recover from that nonsense...

Unfortunately beta3 is the latest one that will work with the 1.0 as the refresh rate support and autoplay are requiring some changes from MP side that aren't binary compatible between 1.0 and SVN.

Beta 7 available, more details in the first post (remember that only SVN version of MP is compatible with later than beta3).

Please post bug reports on the SVN builds so we can have a look on the issues in MP.

Beta 7 is also "Invalid Package" for me
Whats the matter?
I use MP with last SVN.
