Didn't ever need it there... And by the way, I really hate MS- Office so, if ever, it will be "Libre Office Impress" then... MS- Office is the most horrible software Microsoft ever made imho, even worse than Win 8 or Win Vista...

Another thing: I quickly implemented a "IsHomeWorkflowState" property into menu model to bind menu button's visibility to it.

Did you push already something? I checked the last commits and couldn't see something related to menu model.

Ich habe momentan nur den CP screen für Videos erstellt. Er wird für Filme, Serien und Videos verwendet, jedoch habe ich ihn nur mit Filmen ausgelegt.
Es sollen soweit möglich nur Poster auf der rechten Seite gezeigt werden. Für Episoden bedeutet das, dass ich es über den FanArtService machen muss, damit das passende Serien Poster angezeigt wird.
Der Code steht, leider zeigt der FanArtService keine Poster an. Namespaces sind definiert und es gibt keine Errorlogs. https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/summer-15-release-vorschau.131220/#post-1142258

btw. I started to work on the Audio CP screens and realized, that the is still an open issue. The FanArtService does not show Poster.

As there are no poster.. Audio did not have online lookup at all atm so the only fanart available are the cover from id3 tags...

No, because of the mentioned (technical) design issue:

The issue with this approach: all settings screens use a screen base, which shows the menu options always (and not in hidden menu). So there the button logic is wrong (menu is visible).

That's why I would put the button only into master_menu.xaml, because only there the hidden menu is defined. Only thing we need to find out is, how to place button the best way into the intended position.

I would see two options: LayoutTransform to move the button up (not so good), or we define a placeholder in master_bare.xaml and only define a DynamicResource inside master_menu_bare.xaml (better )

I'm still in favor of a solution where the base screen decides about button logic and appearance, not trying to modify behavior depending on workflow state.

We use Libre/Open Office as main Office Software at work. But starting with the 4.2/.3/.4 versions the quality decreased so much, I find it close to not useable anymore.
Because of some document exchange with customers I also have MS Office installed, which I actually like more.
But now back on topic: Do you have already a good vision of squared blue?

on single, multi tv guide page the small video and tv description seem to be overlaping?(screenshot attached).
also
select TV then start watching a show, once watching do shift H then select TV(puts you in single TV guide) then select a TV show it starts playing in little window at bottom of screen but how do you get back to full screen?

Hi, this is a known "bug" at the moment, but the expression "not finished yet" would describe it better. Also for videos, audio, picture, ... the OSD player is overlapping the footer content information.
One of the next versions will have a new logic, means a Currenty playing screen, in which only the OSD player is shown to avoid overlappings of content information.

What exactly do you mean with VideoHub screen? Do you want to change the arrangement of the tiles or their images?

You can organize the tile arrangement in following file ..\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Client\Config\MediaPortal.UiComponents.BlueVision.Settings.MenuSettings.xml
I have not tried yet, but Lehmden did so. You can also eliminate buttons there. My recommendation is to back-up the original settings file and then try to play around until you achieve your target.

The MediaStyles.xaml also defines the style for this. I'm thinking how you can remove the covers in a consistant way. If I prepare a customized mediastyles.xaml, if won't work in next version and do not want to prepare it again with every version
