Bluetooth phone remote control (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have a really cool idea which could allow a person to use there bluetooth phone to remote control Media Portal. The FMA project (http://fma.sourceforge.net) already has the ability to remote control a lot of popular programs including:

Windows Media
iTunes
Power Point
All normal PC functions (shutdown, reboot etc)

If it was somehow possible to utilize the scripting interface to work with Media Portal any compatible cell phone would become a smart tv remote control.

Anyways its just an idea

Your cool idea is already done... ;-)
I control MP with my mobile using some java software called "Bluetooth Remote Control". I don't have a link but google will find it easy enough...

Update: I just checked FMA but sadly it only supports Sony Ericsson phones. The "Bluetooth Remote Control" software I mentioned works on all bluetooth-enabled mobiles that support java, which would be most modern phones...
