I'm using MP 1.0 RC1 with last weekly svn and an NVidia 8600 mainly with cybelink Mpeg2 H.264 decoders and EVR.
The problem bothers me now is that I get a brightness too high in MP if compared with DVBViewer or ZoomPlayer with the same exact graph and EVR. It happens with mpeg2 and h.264 movies and TVs. To explain better I can give the follow wxample: with NVidia control panel I have to use a brightness at 50 for DVBViewer and ZoomPlayer and ad 43 to get the same result in MP. I know that this problem can be related to the range color levels 0-255 instead of 16-235. But I don't understand why one player is different from the other with same codecs and reder (cyberlink 7-8 and evr). Seem that MP sets a 0-255 range while the others use 15-235.
Has anybody an idea about how to get same results with different softwares?
Until few moths ago the situation was different...
Thanks
