Hi

I'm disappointed to see constant immediate skip steps option missing in MP2 Summer '15. We use UP/DOWN to jump forward/back 60 seconds, really useful for ad skipping. Any chance of bringing it back?

Up/Down in video fullscreen does a percentual skip forward/backward

Left/Right does skips in configurable steps (like +/- 15, 30, 60 sec). There is a setting to configure the steps.

Is this what you need?

He means an instant skip of a fixed amount of seconds instead of percentage. In MP1 we press up/down cursor and the video immediately skips a configurable amount of seconds.

You don't need to request this, just provide a patch for review

It's not a big issue, we already have options to define the skip percentage. Only thing missing is to add an option to do a "fixed seconds" instead. This is implemented in less than 1 hour: https://github.com/MediaPortal/MediaPortal-2/search?utf8=✓&q=instantskip
