broadcast dvds as a webcam stream? (1 Viewer)

Is there any way to get MediaPortal to output a DVD the same way that a webcam does, so that it will be broadcast instead of a webcam when a program tries to access my cam? I can use Broadcaster Studiopro to do this with videos already on my hard drive, but it doesn't have the ability to read DVDs, so that doesn't help me much.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

You can try using vlc. i know it can broadcast across a network from both dvd's and web cams.
dunno if that'll help.
