Hard to say exactly whats wrong without knowing what BSODs you're getting. For once I don't think a log file would be of much help either...

There's a pretty good guide to understanding/resolving BSOD here Beginners Guides: Crash Recovery & The Blue Screen of Death - PCSTATS.com. Give it a go and see how you get on.

Failing that just search for the stop numbers in the MS Knowledge base and see what crops up.
