Hi , after the clocks went back on Saturday night, I've lost all my EPG information - Using XMLTV GUI - I tried to grab a new EPG and it seems to write the XML file OK, I mapped the channels in TV server and they all seem to be there, but nothing shows up in TV guide in Mediaportal !! Please help.

I would press the clear epg data under tvserver config manual control, then rerun xmltv GUI, check the file downloaded is about 6-8 mb's for Freeview, more for freesat if using radiotimes, you should then see MySQL or MSSql activity rise in Task Manager, usually for me around 10 to 15 minutes.

Otherwise you may have a database corruption, in that case see here, ashcrofts post is the latest one search finds.

hi again, thanks for your replies, have been messing around with it all week, Tried your suggestion but it failed,i then decided to reinstall a whole computer image I had made about a month ago when everything was working fine, this worked to start with, I could download EPG's OK fro the Web and XMLTV but when I tried to watch TV I got the blue screen crash. Since then i have found an intermittent DVB aerial connector, could this have caused any corruptions? Blue screens? and does Web epg work alongside XMLTV? going to fix the connection problem now and try agian.
