Bug 0000075: resolution requirement request (1 Viewer)

Dear all,
the mantis db has logged bug 0000075 about TV standard presets not being used for SVHS and composite channels.

I just wanted to remind you of my own setup : I use SECAM TV. My MP is set to antenna/france. But I also have an external multi-standard VCR and a PAL external DVD. I can hook all that and change channels from TV to external DVD under win2k.
Using MP, I can't watch the external DVD since it is expecting a secam signal. I get a blurred, b&w image.

So it would be really nice if you'd implement the ability to override the standard setting for those external entries.
