There have been many-many tries at getting a webbrowser-plugin (typically by calling 3. part SW) - non very good.
Most "mediacenter-ish" sw got it these days; Smart-TV's, STB's, Android TV, Apple TV (i guess) - even Steam can call a browser.
Besides standard browsing, one could use it for stuff that typically are hard to get in MP/MP2 and similar, like Netflix (probably HBO as well) - and Spotify can also be managed via web (NEED IT ).
Also, it would be possible to create MP2 specific webpages for desired usage.
Best browser to call now, seems to be Kylo - but it seems not to be dev. any more..
