However, whenever I try to start Mediaportal it gives me a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error. The error states the following...</p><p></p><p>"Runtime Error!</p><p></p><p>Program: C:............</p><p></p><p>This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.</p><p>Please contact the application's support team for more information."</p><p></p><p>When I attempt to install the 2.0 version and any previous versions the installation program is giving me the same message, although it identifies the the errant program as C: Windows\System32\msiexec.exe. The program did work at one time, but since then I suppose the major things I've done were to attempt to update the tv card drivers, with some difficulty, and install Norton antivirus to remove the elitetoolbar virus from my machine.</p><p></p><p>Any help would be gratefully received.</p><p>----------------------------------------------------------------- </p><p>Post any relevant log information (Please post as a link if you can) </p><p></p><p>Unsure where to find this.</p></blockquote><p></p>
