Thanks to the help of @mm1352000 I have been enjoying live TV via my CableCARD on MP1 (Ceton InfiTV4 and Verizon FiOS), but some channels that are available are not appearing from a scan and others that do appear are not working. I test both the channels that dont show up and the ones that do but dont work in the Ceton and they tune in fine.

Included are both logs from the Server and the Client

    Hi :)

...but some channels that are available are not appearing from a scan and others that do appear are not working.
In general, in order to help you with this I would need:
    1. Debug-level TV Server logs covering a full scan.
    2. A list of the channels - number and name - that are available but not appearing.
    3. A list of the channels - number and name - that appear but are not working.
    4. Debug-level MediaPortal and TV Server logs showing attempts to tune some or all of the channels listed for (3).
You've done well to provide log files... but unfortunately they're error-level, so I can see almost nothing in them. Please change the log level to debug and gather all the info requested above so I can try to assist you.

Oh! And I get double channel numbers eg. 504 FOX 4 Dallas and 504 HBO HD (West)
Pretty much the same deal. I'd need full debug-level scan logs and a list of the channels that are doubled.

P.S. I wonder if the reason for these problems is simply that Verizon has moved their channels around... in which case you may well be better off deleting all channels and scanning from scratch.

    I did :(

I am going to do it again tho with debug logging turned on and post them here in a few minutes.

So far, it looks like that the SD plugin was causing a majority of my issues.

SD was causing double channel numbers, causing channels to no longer be there (so they were scanning, just SD was renaming/changing them)

So the only problem now is that some of them are not tuning.

Channel 553 is an example. i tried playing it in MP so it will be in logs. 53 is also doing it. 53 is the SD version of 553

Also, unrelated, MP got a crash when I closed it. Also should be included in logs

Ugh. Please use mc2xml + XMLTV to pull in your SD data:
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_..._TV_Setup/4_TV_Guide_Setup_(EPG)/XMLTV_mc2xml

There'll be no nasty tricks like with the SD plugin, which doesn't work so well with cable setups.

    Here's the problem:
    [2016-03-07 22:55:57,639] [Log ] [30 ] [INFO ] - dvb: RunGraph returns: 0xFFFFFFE0

    0xffffffe0 = -32 = E_CONNECTION_LOST_CANNOT_REOPEN

Are you sure the channel is (a) part of your subscription and (b) copy-freely (ie. not DRM protected, copy once)?
A quick google suggests the channel is likely to be DRM'd:
    https://forums.verizon.com/t5/Fios-...channels-Copy-Once-Flag-Turned-on/td-p/798274

It should be possible to check this through the tuner's web-page or Ceton Diagnostic tool somewhere.

Do I need to go thru each of the 785 channels to see which all don't work, @mm1352000 ?
No, just tell me which ones you notice and/or care about.

P.S. Sorry, I'm a bit slower to respond than usual because I've just moved house... again.

First off, grats on the new house :)

I used to use mc2xml, but then they changed things and I could never find out how to get the special version that fixed the bug. So I went with SD. But you are right it causes all kinds of issues. I will look at MC2XML again.

Even before you said it might be protected, I was afraid that might be the case as it is the channel (FX) that airs The Walking Dead and other real popular shows. But, then like you suggested I used the Ceton tool (the app, not the website) to tune to both channels and they did just fine. So, shouldn't I be able to get it in MP?

And lastly, you rock, N :)
