I used to have an AMD Athlon XP 1700+, however that fell over last week and unfortunately my main computer also did at the same time so that got all the privelage of new hardware, while the Mythbo... *ahem*... I mean Mediaserver got a slight hardware upgrade but second hand. (It was going to get the P4 out of my main machine, but as said, it died).On MythTV we had good picture quality with nice signal strength and quality. On MediaPortal/Windows I am having lots of problems.I first tried TV Server:* I installed the BDA drivers for the Skystar2, and tuned in to the transponders fine. When watching TV though, there were frequent graphical glitches. Seeing the TV log, the signal strength was at about 30% (i.e. not good). However never had this problem before and nothing else has changed!I then decided to try the latest Skystar2 standard drivers and use MyTV:* I selected the card fine and then the LOB/LOF (standard Sky satellite, so 11300, 11300, 0). I hit the scan channels and it failed to lock on anything. I tried Setup4PC, and it was able to get a lock, and had quality of 70% (notice!). I modified the tuning params for MyTV to only pick up the Freeview transponders, but no use.OK, so to sum up:* TVServer + BDA drivers = bad signal quality and poor image, but can tune in fine* MyTV + standard drivers = good signal quality but can't tune inCan anyone of you guys offer any help?</blockquote>
