[QUOTE="mruane, post: 203114, member: 21044"] Hi Guys, I have a really bad problem with my TVE3 based Client installation running on Vista 32. Everything was fine until last week and then I must have installed something that really stuffed MP and especially TS Reader (both the standard and the new version) in the client. I have v0.2.3 RC3 installed with SVN 16490 for both TVE3 (client plugin) and MP. Before installing these versions I completely uninstalled the old version and removed the directories. I can playback MPG files without any problems and I can play back TS files through Media Player, VLC and KMPlayer no problem, but when I try to playback a TS recording from the Server or watch Live TV in Media Portal playback fails with the following error from the log file (PS the Server is set to use TS files for recording): 2007-11-10 23:24:10.526757 [ERROR][MPMain]: TSStreamBufferPlayer9:exception while creating DShow graph Attempted to divide by zero. at DirectShowLib.IGraphBuilder.Render(IPin ppinOut) at MediaPortal.Player.TStreamBufferPlayer9.GetInterfaces(String filename) 2007-11-10 23:24:10.527757 [ERROR][MPMain]: TSStreamBufferPlayer:GetInterfaces() failed 2007-11-10 23:24:10.767757 [ERROR][MPMain]: PlaylistPlayer: *** unable to play - \\MEDIA1\Recordings\5th Gear\2007-11-04.ts - skipping track! 2007-11-10 23:34:41.678757 [ERROR][MPMain]: TSStreamBufferPlayer9:exception while creating DShow graph Attempted to divide by zero. at DirectShowLib.IGraphBuilder.Render(IPin ppinOut) at MediaPortal.Player.TStreamBufferPlayer9.GetInterfaces(String filename) 2007-11-10 23:34:41.678757 [ERROR][MPMain]: TSStreamBufferPlayer:GetInterfaces() failed From what I can see in the log file, the problem appears to be in the DirectShow subsystem, I have .NET 1.1, 2 and 3 installed and I tried reinstalling DirectX - but to no avail. Has anyone else notice anything similar in their setup? I found a similar thread in the TVE3 support forum from Rhys Goodwin but he did not get any technical response from anyone. I also put a thread in the main TVE3 forum but also no responses. So now I guess I am looking for help from a .NET developer who might be able to guide me as to what else I can try to resolve this. Any help would be appreciated - oh the TS files are in good shape I know that for sure. I can play them all in other software so my problem is a local MP software configuration issue and not a fault in TS Reader itself. Cheers Mike [/QUOTE]
