So are you scanning using the standard MP satellite settings or have you made your own Freeview one? If you're using the standard Optus configuration the remember that Sky rebroadcast almost all of the freeview channels but scramble them with NDS. (possibly not the TVNZ ones as they show up for me a clear but I haven't tested this.) To differentiate them look at the network provider column. If it's Sky then it's the Sky broadcast in patented crappy-o-vision. If it's Kordia or from memory TVNZ then it's the freeview broadcast. I just remove the Sky ones from the Guide and All Channels group. The icon needs to be put in the mediaportal front-end thumbs directory and named the same as the channel name in TV Server. By default this location should be c:\program files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\TV\Logos if I remember correctly. Just watch the name though as some of the satellite names are a bit different that what you might expect. (ie. TV1 is named TV ONE but TV2 is named TV2.) I think they can be any standard picture format but jpg and png definitely work. If I get a chance I'll post a copy of my current logos which should be up to date although I have cheated on a couple I couldn't find such as vibe and sky movie greats.
