I was convinced he was not telling the truth. I then actually had a very kind local guy from this forum who had the exact same card test the card in his computer and it worked on both channels fine.  So my conclusion is that the NOVA T 500 needs a way better signal strength than the HVR 2200 to work on both tuners.</p></blockquote><p></p>
