I'd be interested. A reinstall should *not* be required. It may be that other codecs are actually being used - you could figure that out with GraphStudio...I bought a Technisat Skystar HD 2 from Ebay a couple of months ago. It took 7 weeks to get here from Germany, and that was apparently within DHL's 8 week estimate (it had taken 2 to 3 weeks in the past for other tuners). Patience is hard.
