Hi Team. Boy do I need some help! Around Xmas I had to do a rebuild of my, at that stage, working win 7 MP 1.2.1 system. Since then I have not managed to get any Freeview TVNZ channels to tune in. Other channels, 3, 4, Parliament, Trackside etc, tune in just fine and as an example TV3 plays perfectly at 1080. Today I had the Antenna guy come around to finally fix the problem for me and was told that there is nothing wrong with it, a good strong signal. Waste of a few dollars there but at least I've narrowed it down to something within the confines of my HTPC case. So in an attempt to simplify I have now physically removed my hvr-4000 tuner card leaving just the HVR-2200. Un-installed the drivers, run the Hauppauge "driver clear" thingy, and reinstalled from the Hauppauge installer file (and also tried it with the auto-installed drivers). I uninstalled Mediaportal and reinstalled versions 1.2.2 and 1.2.1. Tuning in the channels for Auckland, Waitarua or Infill, gives me all the channels I had before and again no TVNZ channels. Has anyone else seen anything similar going on there? Please feel free to point out the bleeding obvious thing I'm overlooking as right now I'm over it ;-) Is there a new tuning file I should be using? I do notice in my area the UHF antennas are point in two different directions and when I originally put it up I could point one way and get TVNZ, and the other and get TV3, but then it started working fine as it currently is, and again the Antenna guy tested the signal and says it's perfectly good as is. Any suggestions welcomed. Hey, come by have a beer and fix it for me? P.S. Anyone know how to remove the "portal pro" thing next to my name? Can't even work that out and obviously don't deserve it cheers John
