Hi,

here are my results:

1. I've learnd to switch keyboard by pushing SMS button in MP Server window to enter IP.

2. MP Clients brings up error message "not connected to db" so no programdata are avabile and programm window don't come up.
But under channel client knows all channel names??? I think they are also coming from DB?
Could that be an error because program table on server is empty and MP client brings up the wrong error handling?
Or it's on the server side a problem? I opened the firewall on server, no chances. And tried to reache mysql from client with sql tool, there is no problem, which means Port 3306 is open.

3. TV Setup and TV service still crashes and no signal after 20+th channel?
Tried it several times. One of it gets channels until the 20th and the no signal was displayed. I'm trying to scan by entering some frequency manualy but also here there is the no signal message coming up. Frequencies are from astra and there must be more than 400 channels on that satellit!?

4. Signal bars
No chance scanning dvb-t. Did You chance anything? Starting dvb-T the first frequence is wrong as told before. So there is no bar visibal..

Lets be clear - there will only be bars when you scan a correct frequency.
Yes, I did change something - if the first frequency that you scan is correct then the bars show immediately.

Are You still working on the other topics? Do You need an actual log...

Tried to get TV Program while epg is switched on, thought the client error which dont reach db Server counld come from an empty table... No result, I got the same error..

Than I checked manual control. Strange behavior! I can see tha MP is grapping epg but the table is still empty?? Perhaps my idea that empty table causes db error is right??

Yes, it should be the same as satellite scanning now.

Are You still working on the other topics? Do You need an actual log...

More log files are always helpful.

About the tuning issues: they are really puzzling me!
Please can you try to enable custom tuning for your TechnoTrend tuner. This setting is in the same place as "idle mode".

Hi mm,

so I changed to custom but no result, scan finds channels until the 30th and than no signal in the first time?? Doing the same the second time tv server and tv setup crashes again...

did You find something? MP is still not scanning all DVB-S channels and EPG is grapping but not storing the data into the database??

Hello,

so I've gone back to 1.3.0 alpha temporlary to test the epg and scan problem described in this thread...

So to be honest, the version 1.3.0 alpha cause no problems scanning DVB-S and DVB-T and is also grapping epg! Perhaps it helps to make a diff on the source between 1.3.0 alpha and the version I got to test..

But I fear this new clear installation will be as instabil as the former installation which causes that thread we are discussing.

So mm and the hole MP team, I would be happy if You can stabilize MP further. Give me a hint if further testing is necessary...

Hello.

back with some more testing results. I cleared my system and installed 1.3.0 alpha new. After 2 days tt-card begins to make trouble. Now I get the errormessage "Program/Kanal nicht gefunden" (by the way in German Programm ist spelled with double m ;-) )

So I attached tv.log, please have a look what happend!?

next results for You, cleared 1.3.0 alpha and tried Your svn test version, got the same error while scanning DVB-S channels. Scaning stops after about 20 channels and reports for further cahnnels that there is no signal...

Find attached the log for the svn version.
