Posted a couple of questions /problems with Myfilms already ..Plenty of views but no one answers. Not very helpful for someone stugglling to get to grips with all the intricacies of Mediaportal.
Anyway here goes again..
1. Will Myfilms work with MP1 RC1. ?? It appears to work OK until I try and get the movie to play. Then nothing..just hangs.
2. I had the same problem of movies not playing in Myfilms using MP 0.2.3 so maybe its not MP release related. Anyone have any experience of its use with MP 1 RC1???
3. All the configs are set OK in Myfilms so there shouldnt be a reason for the no play problem. All my movies are stored on a external drive that is mapped in Windows. The loction for each specific file is stored as its path in the URL tab of the Ant movie database which creates an xml which Myfilms uses. The Myfilms 4.5 config file is is to check that URL for the path to the movie to play.......... But it doesnt work!!!
4. On the left of the MP screen is given the option to either Play ..Back.. or Refresh the file. Play does nothing.. Back takes me out of the screen altogether and Refresh brings up a windows box which a: I cant even see from across a living room on a Wide Screen TV and b: Is not responsive to either the MCE Remote or the mouse so I just have to CntlAlt Delete the whole Mediaportal program. Is this supposed to work and if so how do I set it up please?
