Can I cut down on other applications? (1 Viewer)

Hi

This is probably a really stupid question but!

I have a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR USB 2. What I would like to know is can I just install the drivers for this device and Media Portal or do I actually need to install the extra software that came with the device! E.G:- WinTV2000 Radio... and endless other junk?
