Can I download an older version? (1 Viewer)

Hey Guys,

I am using VMC right now, after trying Media Portal for a bit, then Meedio. Meedio was a pain to set up, Medial Portal - well I liked it, but when I tried VMC with OML it was perfection.

Well here is my problem now. Moving Pictures. WOW !! Easy to set up, easy to import, just looks awesome. Well everything works except I can't view the movies. I can hear the audio, but no video. I didn't have this problem before this new media portal release.

I want to re-download an older release as I know the video worked. Then I can use Moving Pictures, that I just found out existed.


Can anyone point me to an older release download link?

BTW - I hear others have had problems playing the videos. I don't want all the fuss with drivers. I have media player 11, I am not going to re-install anything, as VMC works perfectly, and the old Media Portal worked as well.
I just need a download link.

Chances are your problem may be EVR is not being used as renderer, take it you are on vista (VMC clue)

Open MP config, make sure expert mode enabled, this is in the top righthand corner, the go to Directshow filter control and select EVR, this works best with Aero enabled.

If none of above apply all previous versions can be found here or not as i just found out, all my sourceforge links now lead to RC3.

Will see if any download of older releases still exists, have not heard of all this change

Now another quick question. Is there a Movie trailer plug-in? And if so, does it work and stream?

I like the eye candy with moving pictures. Is there a way to group movies, or tag movies ie. kids, christmas, adult (not what your thinking), etc, Would make it easier then shuffling over 500 movies to get the one that my daughter wants to watch

Not yet.... but, keep an eye open for future developments.
