Can I make a IPTV broadcast server (1 Viewer)

OK, here's my question.

I want to know whether I can stream mediaportal to hundreds of clients over the web. WAIT
I have 100mbit upload and 1000mbit download (fast isn't it). The channels are 1 Mbps each.

The channels are from satellite to pc through a dvb-s card or even a capture card is possible with a satellite box in between.

Also can this be secured to one client at a time? or some sort.

If I need to buy a server I have looked at these already

HP ProLiant DL380 G5 Dual Quad Core Xeon E5410
HP ProLiant DL580 G5 2x QuadCore Intel CPU

Is this possible?

The answer is no, this is not possible with standard TV Server. Streaming over the web with MPExtended may be possible... but not for hundreds of individual clients, unless the clients share the same streams (in which case you're likely to have other problems).

Also can this be secured to one client at a time?

No, TV Server doesn't have security.

In short: TV Server is not an IPTV server.

Oke, so what I want is to stream only 8 channels over the web.
So what I've learned over the year is that the process is split into three parts.
1. The source, which is the pc decoding and transcoding usind dvb-s cards and software (like mpextended?) sending that to the external bandwidth server.
2. The actual server that grabs the links from the source to send it to the world wide web.
3. The client receiving the live footage. Can be through IP-setup box, phone, tablet etc.

So my question is, Can mediaportal and MPextended do that?
