Can I make Movie Database a Bit Different? (1 Viewer)

This seems like a relatively simple "Hack", but I just cannot seem to find a way to do it!

In my MP, I have the Movie Database come up as default in "My Videos". But whenever someone clicks on one of the movies, it just doesn't do anything.

This is because I have manually added all movies that I OWN as DVDs, NOT that I have on the computer.

So is there any way to just make it say "Please Insert DVD" when I click on one of the Movie Files (as if I were going to play it)?

Thanks

why don't you simply use the MP video database? I insert a dvd, hit F3 on the disc and download information from imdb or ofdb (Germany). I can then tell the video database which Disc Number it is in my collection and there we go. When I change the view of the MP Database to "Title", it's all there nicely in order. If I select one movie then and hit ok, MP prompts me for Disc No XX

Now, that's what you wanted, isn't it? I have around 200 movies in my database now. WAF is exceptional good.

I knew it had to be somewhere, but wasn´t easy to find :)

there are also 2 plugins that may help you. mydvd´s (not working with current rc i think) and an ant movie catalog importer plugin.
haven´t used any of them, so can´t tell precise.

    Hi,

the problem occured, because you did it manually. :?

If you would have hit F3 / Yellow-Button on your DVD drive while the disc was in it, you would have got what you wanted (MP asking for a CD / DVD).

What you could do, but it is much work and might srew up your installation.
    - run SQLight Browser (in /MP/Docs/ )
    - open /MP/database/VideoDatabaseV5.db3
    - edit the path table adding the CDLabel to the appopriate files

    Flip.
