I have just installed MP 1.1 and find it very good. However, I am trying to use a Netgear EVA2000 to replay recorded TV programs across my LAN. I find the following.
Recorded Std Def digital channels play back on MP, WMP, WME, VLC etc. just fine
Recorded Std Def digital channels also play through my Netgeard EVA200 juts fine
Recorded HD TV digital channels play back on MP, WMP, etc. juts fine
Recorded HD TV digital channels won't play on my Netgear EVA2000
I'm guessing because the picture is actually bigger, but is there a way to record HD TV resizing it on the fly as it is recorded, so that it will play through my EVA2000? Or (sadly) is the only way to use a video converter to change the format (e.g. to WMV), sort of defeating the original purpose of having MP?
