Perhaps I'm missing this. Its something really simple but I can't seem to find it..
I have a Conceptronic TVi TV Card (Connexant)

and use it NOT to watch TV but to watch and record from my SatYcon Digital Satellite reciever. The Satycon does the decoding and I just watch the output , (via composite at the moment) on my PC with the bog standard PVR SOFTWARE THAT CAME WITH THIS CHEEPO CARD..I can also record to disk in MPG (DivX with other PVR software)
It would be nice to incorporate this into my Mediaportal package rather than have it outside.
However, the only options I have in TVServer are for "Antenna" or "Cable". My PVR software offers those two plus "Composite & S-Vhs". Also it is found as an "NGS TV Plus Video" Card by MediaPortal.
Surely if my crappy PVR software can do this then a proggy of Media Portal's might should have it somewhere?

Edit: Well.. things looking better now I've uninstalled TVserver and can get at the TV settings in MediaPortal. This looks better!! Why wasn't this included in TVServer??
Edit2: Nope no better off.. "unable to create map for this device". I give up!
